We frequently join together in praying our Mission Statement Prayer, as a reminder that our purpose is greater than ourselves:

Gracie said this to her husband, George Burns, as words of hope in her last days of life.
These words remind us that "God is still speaking," encouraging us to listen for new ways to apply God's love to the challenges of the modern world.
“Open and Affirming”
We are an “Open and Affirming” church, meaning that we welcome all to full participation, regardless of sexual orientation. Mountain Rise aspires to welcome people of diverse perspectives and backgrounds, to serve others in practical ways, and to live out Christ’s ideals of justice, peace, and compassion.
