The speaker for the January 5th First Monday is John Zabel who will talk about coins and money. The program is open to the public and will begin at 7:15. Numismatic is the study and collection of coins, paper money, tokens and medals.  Our own JOHN ZABEL is a numismatic extraordinaire.  He started collecting coins as a kid. John is a past president of the Rochester Numismatic Association. He has been awarded first place in numismatic exhibits at the annual ANA show and is a certified exhibit judge. He is a member of the Society of Paper Money Collectors and the International Bank Note Society.
