Barbara has been serving Mountain Rise UCC as theAdministrative Assistant since 2009. She enjoys welcoming and serving all who enter the Mountain Rise office during business hours. Barbara supports staff and the Mountain Rise congregation, serving as the nerve center for communication by compiling the monthly newsletter, emailing weekly updates, directing phone calls and messages, updating the website and calendar, and printing the weekly church bulletin.

Barbara’s earliest work experiences included school bus driver, library assistant, and executive secretary at a non-profit organization. She earned an Associate’s Degree from Bryant & Stratton College. She lives in Fairport with her husband, Bob, and is the proud mom of James and Jonathan. She is an active member of the Perinton Presbyterian Church. She enjoys hiking, exercising, yoga, reading and recently has been learning to play the cello.
